Food List for Blood Type O – Oils & Fats

Oils and Fats

Everyone tells you just how bad oils and fats are for any diet; however, this statement is not necessarily true. Some oils and fats are great for our health. If your blood type is O, then flaxseed oil and olive oil are beneficial. You should on the other hand avoid corn oil, cottonseed oil, lard, margarine, peanut oil, safflower oil, and shortening. In the neutral category you will find such oils and fats as canola oil, cod liver oil, sesame oil, and sunflower oil. If you do not wish to use olive oil for all of your cooking, then you should try canola oil or even sunflower oil. Butter from the dairy group is in the neutral group unlike margarine so you can also use butter when cooking which will help with flavor without worries about the oils and fats you must avoid.
